Правило 38
That every cleric convicted by the first court must remain under the punishment imposed on him by the first court until the highest court releases him from this punishment.
It was the will of the entire Council: if someone excommunicated from communion due to his own negligence, be it a bishop or any clergyman, dares to enter into communion during his excommunication before being heard, then it must be considered that he has pronounced a guilty verdict on himself.

Ὁμοίως ἤρεσε συμπάσῃ τῇ συνόδῳ, ἵνα, ὁ διὰ ῥαθυμίαν αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ κοινωνίας γενόμενος, εἴτε ἐπίσκοπος, εἴτε οἱοσδήποτε κληρικός, ἐὰν ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τῆς ἀκοινωνησίας αὐτοῦ, πρὸ τοῦ ἀκουσθῆναι, εἰς κοινωνίαν τολμήσῃ, αὐτὸς καθ᾽ ἑαυτοῦ τῆς καταδίκης τὴν ψῆφον ἐξενηνοχέναι κριθῇ.[1]
