Правило 144
On the prohibition of accepting complaints against members of the clergy from actors, from persons who bear the stain of dishonor (infamy); from heretics and pagans.
It was desirable not to allow any slaves and one’s own freedmen to be charged, and all those whom civil laws do not allow to be charged with crimes; as well as everyone who bears the stain of dishonor, that is, actors and persons devoted to immorality; also heretics, or pagans, or Jews. However, anyone who is denied the right to make such an accusation should not be denied the right to accuse in their own cases.

Ὁμοίως ἤρεσεν, ἵνα πάντες οἱ δοῦλοι, καὶ οἱ ἴδιοι ἀπελεύθεροι εἰς κατηγορίαν μὴ προσδεχθῶσι· καὶ πάντες οὓς πρὸς κατηγορητέα ἐγκλήματα οἱ δημόσιοι νόμοι οὐ προσδέχονται· πάντες ἔτι μὴν οἱ τοῖς τῆς ἀτιμίας σπίλοις ἐῤῥαντισμένοι, τουτέστι μῖμοι, καὶ ὅσα ταῖς αἰσχρότησιν ὑποβέβληνται πρόσωπα· αἱρετικοὶ ἔτι μήν, εἴτε Ἕλληνες, εἴτε Ἰουδαῖοι· πλὴν ὅμως πᾶσιν, οἷς ἡ τοιαύτη κατηγορία ἀρνεῖται, ἐν ταῖς ἰδίαις αἰτίαις τὴν τοῦ κατηγορεῖν ἄδειαν μὴ ὀφείλειν ἀρνεῖσθαι.[1]
