On the territories of the ministry of bishops, converts and the Donatist heresy.
Some years ago in this Church it was decreed by a full Council that any churches founded in the region which had become catholic before the laws concerning the Donatists were issued should belong to those sees whose bishops had induced them to enter into communion with the catholic unity. And those who entered into communion after the publication of the laws should belong to the same departments to which they belonged when they were on the side of Donatus. And since after this many disputes arose and are arising between the bishops regarding areas about which then, as it seems, there was insufficient care shown, now this holy Council was pleased: wherever there was a Catholic Church and a church belonging to the side of Donatus, and they belonged to different sees, at whatever time the unification occurred there or will happen, before the publication of laws or after it, let them belong to the see to which the Catholic Church that existed there from ancient times belonged.

Ὁμοίως ἤρεσεν, ἐπειδὴ πρό τινων ἐνιαυτῶν ἐν ταύτῃ τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ πεπληρωμένῃ τῇ συνόδῳ ὡρίσθη, ἵνα οἱαιδήποτε ἐκκλησίαι, ἐν διοικήσει καθεστῶσαι, πρὸ τῶν νόμων τῶν περὶ τῶν Δονατιστῶν ἐκτεθέντων καθολικαὶ γένωνται, ἐκείνοις τοῖς θρόνοις ἀνήκωσιν, ὧν τινων διὰ τῶν ἐπισκόπων προτραπεῖσαι τῇ καθολικῃ ἑνότητι ἐκοινώνησαν, μετὰ δὲ τοὺς νόμους οἱαιδήποτε ἐκοινώνησαν, ἐκείνοις ἀνήκωσιν, οἷς καὶ ὅτε ἦσαν εἰς τὸ μέρος τοῦ Δονάτου.
