Правило 127
Against the heresy of Pelagius. Anathema to those who claim that it is possible for a person to fulfill the commandments without the assistance of Divine grace.
It was pleasing: anyone who says that the grace of justification is given to us so that what we can do with the help of autocracy, with the help of grace we do with greater ease, as if if grace were not given, then we, although not with ease, could still fulfill the Divine commandments without it - let him be anathema. After all, when the Lord spoke about the fruits of the commandments, he did not say: without Me you can do nothing with difficulty, but said: without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5).

Ὁμοίως ἤρεσεν, ἵνα, ὁστισδήποτε εἴποι, διὰ τοῦτο τὴν χάριν ἡμῖν τῆς δικαιοσύνης δεδόσθαι, ἵνα, ὅπερ ποιεῖν διὰ τοῦ αὐτεξουσίου δυνάμεθα, εὐχερεστέρως πληρῶμεν διὰ τῆς χάριτος, ὡς ἂν εἰ καὶ ἡ χάρις μὴ ἐδίδοτο, οὐκ εὐχερῶς μέν, ἀλλ᾽ ὅμως ἐδυνάμεθα καὶ δίχα ἐκείνης ἔτι μὴν πληρῶσαι τὰς θείας ἐντολάς, ἀνάθεμα εἴη. Περὶ γὰρ τῶν καρπῶν τῶν ἐντολῶν ὁ Κύριος ἐλάλει, ὅπου οὐκ εἶπε, Χωρὶς ἐμοῦ δυσχερῶς δύνασθε ποιεῖν· ἀλλ᾽ εἶπε, Χωρὶς ἐμοῦ, οὐδὲν δύνασθε ποιεῖν.[1]
