About anathema to those who boast of their coarse clothing in contrast to those who wear silk or generally accepted clothing.
If any of the men, for the sake of imaginary asceticism, wears rough outer clothing and, as if he becomes righteous from this, condemns those who reverently wear virs and dress in generally accepted and ordinary clothes, let him be anathema.

Εἴ τις ἀνδρῶν διὰ νομιζομένην ἄσκησιν περιβολαίῳ χρῆται, καὶ ὡς ἂν ἐκ τούτου τὴν δικαιοσύνην ἔχων καταψηφίσοιτο τῶν μετ᾽ εὐλαβείας τοὺς βήρους φορούντων, καὶ τῇ ἄλλῃ κοινῇ καὶ ἐν συνηθείᾳ οὔσῃ ἐσθῆτι κεχρημένων, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.
