On the need for presbyters serving the Liturgy or performing the Sacrament of Baptism in house churches, under the threat of eruption, not to do this without the appointment of a bishop.
Since the Holy Ecumenical 6th Council casts out those clergy who, contrary to the will of the bishop, perform liturgy or baptism in chapels inside dwellings, we also agree with this. The Holy Church rightly rules, spreads and defends the word of truth, observes the holiness of life and teaches it, which means it is shameful and wicked to allow those living in unbridledness to sneak into homes, destroy the decorum of the Church and fill it with many turmoil and temptations. Therefore, the present sacred and God-assisted Council, being in agreement with the holy 6th Ecumenical Council, decreed that those appointed to serve in chapels inside houses, that is, those who received an appointment from the local bishop. If anyone other than them, contrary to the will of the bishop, invades houses and dares to begin celebrating the liturgy, then they should be thrown out, and those who entered into communion with them should be excommunicated.

Τῆς ἁγίας καὶ οἰκουμενικῆς ἕκτης συνόδου, τοὺς ἐν τοῖς εὐκτηρίοις οἴκοις, ἔνδον οἰκίας οὖσι, λειτουργοῦντας ἢ βαπτίζοντας κληρικούς, παρὰ γνώμην τοῦ ἐπισκόπου, καθαιρέσει καθυποβαλλούσης, καὶ ἡμεῖς τούτῳ συμψηφιζόμεθα. Τῆς γὰρ ἁγίας Ἐκκλησίας ὀρθοτομούσης καὶ τὸν ἀληθῆ πρεσβευούσης λόγον καὶ τὸ σεμνὸν τῆς πολιτείας συντηρούσης τε καὶ ἐκδιδασκούσης, ἀπηχὲς καὶ ἀνόσιον παραχωρεῖν τοὺς ἀπαιδευσίᾳ καὶ ἀναρχίᾳ συζῶντας, εἰς τὰς οἰκίας ὑποδυομένους, τὴν ταύτης εὐταξίαν διασπᾶν καὶ πολλῆς ταραχῆς καὶ σκανδάλων ἀποπληροῦν.
