Canon 25
About a 10-year penance for those guilty of molesting the sister of the betrothed, who hanged herself after the marriage of the molester with the betrothed.
Someone who was engaged to a girl corrupted her sister, and she conceived from him (ἐπιφορῆσαι), after which he still married the bride, and the corrupted woman hanged herself. It was commanded that those who knew should be accepted among those standing with the faithful after 10 years, after undergoing certain degrees of repentance.

Μνηστευσάμενός τις κόρην, προσεφθάρη τῇ ἀδελφῇ αὐτῆς, ὡς καὶ ἐπιφορέσαι αὐτὴν· ἔγημε δὲ τὴν μνηστὴν μετὰ ταῦτα, ἡ δὲ φθαρεῖσα ἀπήγξατο· οἱ συνειδότες ἐκελεύσθησαν ἐν δεκαετίᾳ δεχθῆναι εἰς τοὺς συνεστῶτας κατὰ τοὺς ὡρισμένους βαθμούς.
