On the possibility for deacons to marry after entering the priesthood. This Rule is a local exception from the 26th Apostolic Rule. The Sixth Ecumenical Council, the 6th canon, confirmed adherence to the Apostolic Rule.
Those who are ordained deacons, if at the time of their ordination they testify and declare that they need to get married, since they cannot remain so if they later marry, let them continue in their ministry, since the bishop has allowed them to do so. If some, having kept silent about this and agreed to remain so during ordination, subsequently entered into marriage, they should be removed from the diaconal ministry.

Διάκονοι, ὅσοι καθίστανται, παρ᾽ αὐτὴν τὴν κατάστασιν εἰ ἐμαρτύραντο καὶ ἔφασαν χρῆναι γαμῆσαι, μὴ δυνάμενοι οὕτω μένειν, οὗτοι μετὰ ταῦτα γαμήσαντες, ἔστωσαν ἐν τῇ ὑπηρεσίᾳ, διὰ τὸ ἐπιτραπῆναι αὐτοῖς ὑπὸ τοῦ ἐπισκόπου. Τοῦτο δέ, εἴ τινες σιωπήσαντες, καὶ καταδεξάμενοι ἐν τῇ χειροτονίᾳ μένειν οὕτω, μετὰ ταῦτα ἦλθον ἐπὶ γάμον, πεπαῦσθαι αὐτοὺς τῆς διακονίας.
