On the Day of the Baptism of Rus' and the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, a solemn bishop's service took place in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chelyabinsk. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, Bishop Leonid of Argentina and South America, Bishop Pavel of Trinity and South Ural, Bishop Seraphim of Chrysostom and Satka. The archpastors were concelebrated by the secretary of the Chelyabinsk diocese, Archpriest Igor Shestakov, and the clergy of the Chelyabinsk diocese. The liturgical hymns were performed by the Bishop's male choir "Axios". Praying at the Liturgy were the abbess of the Odigitrievsky convent, abbess Eusevia (Lobanova), the abbess of the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas convent in the city of Tashkent, abbess Ekaterina (Malgina), as well as employees of various departments of the Office of the Russian Guard in the Chelyabinsk region.
