The 2nd Camp Period of the Archdiocese of Crete in Anopoli has endedtranslated

In an atmosphere of joy and creativity, the 2nd Camp Period of the Holy Archdiocese of Crete was completed, which took place from July 17 to 26, 2026 and hosted approximately 90 elementary and high school girls at the Anopolis facilities. The leader of the camp period was Ms. Vasiliki Athanasiadou-Petraki and the Deputy leader was Ms. Eleni Tsagaraki, surrounded by worthy executives, team leaders and volunteers, who with love, responsibility and church-like attitude ministered to the work of the camp.

The central theme of this year's period for the girls as well as for the boys was: "The Saints who shined in Crete - From the Apostle Titus to today".

Through daily talks, experiential activities, workshops, theatrical events, group games and religious gatherings, the campers got to know the great hagiological tradition of Crete, discovered the timeless relevance of the Saints of our Church and were taught that holiness is a living invitation for every person.
