On July 28, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the St. Vladimir Church in the city of Smorgon.
His Eminence was co-served by the secretary of the Lida diocese, Archpriest Georgy Mukha, the dean of the Smorgon district, Archpriest Anatoly Rezanovich, the dean of the Ostrovets district, Archpriest Georgy Savitsky, and the rector of the church, Priest Alexander Shelest, as well as the clergy of the Smorgon district and guests in holy orders.
The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Evgeniy Vasilevsky.
The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by Archpriest Georgy Savitsky.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Porfiry performed a prayer service on the feast day of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and in memory of the Baptism of Rus', then congratulated everyone present on the holiday, addressed everyone with a word of edification and gave an archpastoral blessing.
