Nepsis UK young people will take part in a pilgrimage and spiritual volunteering program in the Isles of Mull and Ionatranslated

The young people of Nepsis UK will participate, between 17-24 August 2026, in a pilgrimage and spiritual volunteering program to the monasteries on the Isles of Mull and Iona in Scotland.

During the week, young people will participate in the liturgical program of the monasteries, moments of prayer and spiritual reflection, as well as volunteer activities in support of the monastic communities.

The pilgrimage will include visits to Orthodox monasteries on the Isles of Mull and Iona, such as All Saints Celts Monastery on the Isle of Mull and Assumption and All Saints Monastery on the Isle of Iona. The two settlements bring together monks from several countries, including Scotland, England, the United States of America, Canada, the Netherlands and Romania.

Also, the young people will have meetings with the inhabitants of the monastic settlements and activities dedicated to the knowledge of the Orthodox tradition in the Celtic space.

Through this program, organized within the Archdiocese of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the young people of Nepsis UK will combine pilgrimage with spiritual volunteering, in a framework of prayer, formation and closeness to the Orthodox monastic tradition.
