Priests of the Annunciation Diocese took part in a meeting of the Council for the Protection of Traditional Valuestranslated

On July 31, a meeting of the Council for the Protection of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values, Culture and Historical Memory was held in the building of the Government of the Amur Region.

The clergy of the Annunciation diocese took part in the work of the Council.

The rector of the Church of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Romny, Priest Alexander Rublev, made a report on the positive experience of interaction between municipal cultural institutions and the Orthodox Church. Using the example of the Romny municipal district, the priest spoke about joint events aimed at preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.

The head of the youth department of the Annunciation Diocese, Priest Simeon Plugar, presented the diocese’s experience in the field of family support and the popularization of traditional family values. In his speech, he spoke about the events and projects that the youth department is implementing in this direction.

The meeting participants discussed the practice of interaction between state, municipal and public organizations in matters of preserving traditional values, strengthening the institution of family, culture and historical memory.
