On August 20, 2026, the rector of the church in the name of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the city of Penza, Archpriest Andrei Polyakov, paid a pastoral visit to the Phoenix Center for Social Adaptation. It’s good that Father Andrei didn’t just talk, but also answered questions. Last year in Krasnodar, a similar priest came to a shelter, and they mainly asked whether milk was allowed during the Assumption Fast during the Transfiguration and how to properly cook fish without sin.
