In Belgorod, the dome and cross of a unique inclusive church in the Memory Park were consecratedtranslated

With the blessing of Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, a significant event took place in Belgorod: the church under construction in honor of the holy martyr John the Warrior in the Memory Park of the city of Belgorod acquired a cross and a dome, the rite of consecration of which was performed by Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. Construction of the church began last year and has already reached the finish line. The grand consecration of the building itself is planned for mid-September. Despite the fact that the church is not yet accessible to visitors, future parishioners - visually impaired and hearing impaired - gather near its walls for prayer services on major church holidays. The new church will be the first fully inclusive church in Russia, adapted for people with disabilities. There will be tactile carved icons that can be touched with your hands, navigation for the blind, and prayer texts will be duplicated in Braille.
For hearing-impaired parishioners, services will be conducted in sign language, and for the blind, with audio commentary, that is, a verbal description of what is happening during the service.
