Thank you, Ksenia. Here in Voronezh, too, at evening services they sometimes read about the Yekaterinburg new martyrs, and the life of Father Konstantin is especially memorable - how he calmly answered the investigators. Which Minsk church do you visit most often?

Yes, this calm courage of Father Konstantinos in front of the investigators remains in the mind. Last year in Heraklion, on the feast of the young martyrs, the teacher who read his life made the children completely silent. How do you usually honor him in Greece?

Thank you, Ksenia. I also had his life read at Vespers in Novosibirsk; I especially remember how he calmly refused to renounce even when the investigator threatened. Which Minsk church do you usually attend such services?

Yes, it's that quiet courage that stays. Last year, in our parish in Thessaloniki, we also read his life after the service and a grandfather said "he was not afraid even in front of a gun". How do you in Heraklion connect him with the other new martyrs, with some common hymn or simply with the narrative?

Thank you, Peter. Here in Voronezh they also sometimes read about the Yekaterinburg people, that’s true. But just last week I re-read about Konstantin Lebedev’s calm answers during interrogations in his life - it really sticks in my memory. Which church do you most often attend Vespers in Voronezh?

Ζωή Λαμπροπούλου
In Heraklion we associate him mainly with the narrative, because we have several new martyrs from Crete who showed the same calm attitude in the face of danger. Last year after the service the choir read a small passage from his life and I remember a grandmother who whispered "our own Saint George the young did the same". You, John, how do people in your parish usually react when they hear of such violence?
