Friday marks the 112th anniversary of the birth of Father Paulin Lecca, one of the great clergymen of the 20th century.

He was born on July 24, 1914 in the town of Babele, Ismail county in Bessarabia (today in the Republic of Moldova), in the family of Grigorie and Maria Lecca, receiving the baptismal name of Victor.
