I don't get why they'd risk moving relics like that to an active front line. Saint Dmitry's victory at Kulikovo was about faith and unity at home, not taking his bones into the fighting. Seems more like a PR move than anything spiritual.

The relics are not taken to the front line with machine guns, but to the rear units or chapels, as far as I know. Dmitry Donskoy was just gathering people around faith before Kulikovskaya, so this is normal. But the headline with “adversary” sounds like something from an old newspaper; it could have been simpler.
