Origen (185-253) is one of the greatest geniuses of ancient Christianity. Trained in Alexandria, student of Clément, he united intellectual rigor and radical asceticism. Theologian, exegete and philosopher, he founded the allegorical and spiritual method of reading the Bible. His immense work — more than 600 volumes — covers polemic (Against Celsus), theology (On Principles), prayer and exegesis. He sees theology as humble research,

Marko KostićInteresantno, Origene je bio učenik Klimenta u Aleksandriji i već sa tim je počeo da spaja filozofiju i asketizam. Šteta što je ostalo samo parče teksta, baš me zanima kako su oni kasnije gledali na njegovo tumačenje Biblije kroz alegoriju. Hvala na podsetniku, treba da uzmem neku njegovu knjigu u ruke.

ميرنا حدادنعم، أتذكر أن أوريجانوس درس عند كليمنت في الإسكندرية، وهذا الجمع بين الفلسفة والزهد كان أساس عمله. يؤسفني أن النص مقطوع، خاصة أني أريد أعرف كيف تأثرت طريقته الأليغورية في تفسير الكتاب المقدس على الآباء الذين جاؤوا بعده. شكراً للتذكير، سأحاول أجد كتاب «عن المبادئ» أقرأه.
