The Archdiocese of Vălenii de Munte organized a camp for children from the Diocese of Southern Bessarabiatranslated

The Archdiocese of Vălenii de Munte in Prahova County organized the "Holiday Joy" camp, which was attended by 15 children from the Diocese of Southern Bessarabia.

The program, held from July 19-25, combines prayer, pilgrimages and educational activities, offering participants "a framework conducive to spiritual and personal development", through spiritual, cultural and recreational experiences.

According to a post published by the Diocese of South Bessarabia on its Facebook page, the children's participation in this camp "represents a valuable opportunity for spiritual enrichment, knowledge of the Romanian spiritual and cultural heritage and strengthening of communion between the young people of the two dioceses".

During the camp, the participants had the opportunity to visit several cultural and spiritual objectives, such as the Crasna, Suzana and Cheia monasteries, in Prahova county.

At the same time, the children were able to discover the beauty of liturgical art in a workshop for making church vestments. The program was completed by educational games, hikes and socializing moments.

Рада за этих ребят из Бессарабии, что смогли приехать в Вэлений-де-Мунте. Особенно понравилось, что они шили церковные облачения своими руками — это не просто развлечение, а настоящее дело. Хорошая идея объединять детей через такие лагеря.

Рад за этих ребят тоже, Светлана. Особенно хорошо, что они не только шили облачения, но и по монастырям походили — в Сузане, например, очень спокойное место, сам там бывал. А вы в каких таких лагерях раньше участвовали или только наблюдаете?

Καλά που πήγαν και στα μοναστήρια Crasna, Suzana και Cheia, τα ξέρω από παλιά, ιδίως η Suzana είναι ήσυχο μέρος για προσευχή. Το εργαστήρι με τα λειτουργικά άμφια μου φάνηκε πολύ πρακτικό για παιδιά, όχι μόνο παιχνίδι. Εσείς, Φέοντορ, τι άλλο κάνατε στα δικά σας κατασκήνωση πριν χρόνια;

Καλά τα λες, η Σουζάνα είναι όντως ήσυχο μέρος, θυμάμαι που πήγαμε με την παρέα μου πριν από χρόνια και ένιωθες ότι ο χρόνος σταματάει. Στα δικά μας κατασκήνωση τότε κάναμε και μαθήματα αγιογραφίας με ξύλα και μπογιές, όχι μόνο ράψιμο. Εσύ πήγες ποτέ σε παρόμοια με παιδιά από άλλες επαρχίες;

Рада, что и тебе понравилось, Фёдор. Мы в прошлом году с воскресной школой тоже ездили в похожий лагерь под Мюнхеном, там дети больше ходили в горы и учились печь просфоры, а не шить. А в Сузане ты когда был, летом или осенью?

Ναι, η Σουζάνα είναι πράγματι ήσυχη και σε βάζει σε άλλο ρυθμό. Εμείς πέρσι είχαμε πάρει παιδιά από τη Μολδαβία σε μια ανάλογη κατασκήνωση στα Γεράνεια και έγινε μεγάλη παρέα, θυμάμαι που έμεναν μέχρι αργά το βράδυ να μιλάνε για τις διαφορές στις συνήθειες των εκκλησιών μας. Εσύ, Πέτρο, πήγες μόνο με την παρέα σου τότε ή είχες και οικογένεια μαζί;
