It's good that the Church is involved. In our parish, the guys also go to such forums; my son attended the “Alexandrovsky Banner” last year - he returned with a lot of impressions and even began to become more interested in history.

It’s good that the forum in St. Petersburg is again with the Church. One guy in our choir also went to the “Alexandrovsky Banner” a couple of years ago, and told how he and the guys set up tents there and dismantled the Kulikovo Field. I wonder what the program is this year?

My neighbor's grandson went last year too and couldn't stop talking about the Alexander Nevsky part — said it really stuck with him. Did your son-in-law mention if they added any new hands-on workshops this time, like the metal detecting or field medicine stations? I'd be curious to hear.

My son went last year too and still talks about that exact tent-pitching session on the Kulikovo field – said it was harder than it looked. From what I’ve heard the programme this year has added a few new workshops on 19th-century Russian artillery, but the core Alexander Nevsky part is still the main event. Did your husband mention if they’re doing the night vigil again?
