Archbishop Timotei of Arad said on Thursday that we have as an example the Most Reverend Father Emilian Crișanul, recently moved to the Lord: "He was close to all of us and fulfilled his Vladic duties abundantly".

His Eminence officiated the Liturgy and the Service for the former Vicar Bishop of Arad at the Old Cathedral in the municipality, where the worthy hierarch served.

At his 40-day commemoration, numerous bishops took part in the cathedral: Bishops Nestor of Deva and Hunedoara, Ieronim of Dacia Felix, Siluan of Hungary and Macarie of Northern Europe, Vicar Bishop Paisie Lugojeanul of the Archdiocese of Timisoara and Vicar Bishop Gherontie Hunedoreanul of the Diocese of Deva and Hunedoara.
