Border policemen from Sighetu Marmației, in prayer for the feast of Saint Stephen the Greattranslated

Workers of the Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police (ITPF) of Sighetu Marmații participated on Thursday in the dedication of the "Saint Voivode Ștefan cel Mare" Church within the institution.

The Holy Liturgy was officiated by a council of priests, led by Archimandrite Ioachim Tomoiagă, diocesan adviser within the Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar.

The event was attended by the prefect of Maramureș County, Rudolf Stauder, the sub-prefect Enikö-Erzsébet Krizsanovszki, the Chief Inspector of the ITPF Sighetu Marmației, the police chief Florin Coman, the chief police chief Valentin Minoiu, director of the Human Resources Management Directorate, father Felix Iulian Radu, the head of the Religious Assistance Section, from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers from border and believers from Sighetu Marmației.

After the Holy Liturgy, Archimandrite Joachim Tomoiaga urged the workers of the inspectorate to keep the faith, to be responsible and to love the neighbor, values ​​that guide both the Christian life and the mission of the border police.
