The results of the regional competition “Orthodox Teacher - 2026” have been summed uptranslated

On July 2, the results of the annual regional competition “Orthodox Teacher 2026” were summed up. The competition is held by the regional state autonomous institution “Institute for Educational Development” together with the department of religious education and catechesis of the Simbirsk diocese. It is aimed at improving the quality of teaching the module “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” in general education organizations, as well as at identifying talented teachers working in the field of spiritual and moral education of the younger generation.

Among the objectives of the competition are to support the best teaching practices within the framework of Orthodox themes, to improve the professional skills of teachers and educators who are able to organize the educational process in the traditions of Orthodox culture.

A total of 142 teachers from secondary schools and preschool institutions took part in the competition.
