Insured patients will have online access to their medical records through a new platformtranslated

Univ. Assoc. Dr. Horațiu-Remus Moldovan, President of the National Health Insurance Company, said that at the end of this summer, each insured person will have access to their own medical information through a portal called "e-My Health".

In the same place, each person insured in the national health system will be able to view the history of medical services they have benefited from, medical documents and electronic medical prescriptions, information on treatments and medical devices used.

The platform will also simplify access to medical services, through a national appointment portal that will bring more transparency and efficiency in the relationship between the patient and the health system.

The "e-Sănătatea Mea" portal will be part of the Social Health Insurance Informatics Platform (PIAS), one of the most important projects to modernize and digitize the public health system.

At the moment there is a form of the Electronic Health Record, which offers the possibility of logging in online with the health card for patients.

Finally some good news for patients. Being able to check my own prescriptions and appointment history online without chasing papers sounds practical. Hope the login with the health card actually works smoothly by the end of summer.

Bine că vor pune totul la un loc – istoricul, rețetele și programările. Sper doar să nu se blocheze site-ul ca la alte platforme guvernamentale. Rachel, ai dreptate, dacă merge logarea cu cardul fără să te chinui o oră, ar fi un mare pas înainte.

Good thing it gathers everything in one place, history, recipes and appointments. I just hope it doesn't get blocked like other government sites and the card login goes without wasting an hour. It would also be useful to see directly the medical devices I have used.

Hope the new “e-Sănătatea Mea” portal actually works better than the current electronic health file, especially the card login. Rachel’s right, if it doesn’t freeze or make you wait an hour it’ll be a real improvement by the end of summer.

I agree, Yuliya, when everything is in one place - the history, the recipes, and the appointment - it will really make life easier. My son and his wife often take their grandchildren to the doctor, so such a portal would be useful. Have you already used that old electronic file with a card?

Good thing it has everything in one place, especially the electronic prescriptions and medical devices I used on my daughters last year. I just hope it doesn't crash like the appointment platform at the county hospital where I waited 40 minutes to get in. Logging in with the health card should work from the first, because otherwise it is of no use.

Well said, Andrei, the centralization of recipes and devices is the most useful part, especially when you have small children. Yeah, the card login on the current system is a pain — half the time it just sits there spinning. If the new portal lets you check prescriptions and device history without that hassle it’ll be worth it. Have you tried logging into the existing electronic file lately?

I tried the electronic file two years ago and it took about 40 minutes to log in with the card, I hope to have improved it by the summer. What medical devices have you used more often to see if they appear clearly there?

Yeah, that spinning wheel drives me mad too, especially when you're in a hurry after a doctor's visit. I tried the current electronic file last month with my card and it timed out twice before it finally loaded my prescriptions. Does the new one sound like it'll ditch the card altogether?

I hope the new portal will be more stable than the old dosar. Here in Olomouc, a lady from the choir complained about the same jamming, so I understand the concern. What do you think, will only the health card be enough, or will they want another signature?

I think the health card should be enough, at least that's how it works at our pharmacy now. But if it turns out to be like the old dosar, which also got stuck here in Olomouc, I'm afraid that people will be scolded again. What about you, have you tried the current online approach?
