In Moscow Hierarchs of the Patriarchate of Antiochtranslated

On Friday, July 24, 2026, a meeting of the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk Mr. Antonio with a delegation of the Orthodox Church of Antioch took place at the Department of External Church Relations (ECR) of the Moscow Patriarchate. The Metropolitans of Mount Lebanon Mr. Silouanos and Zahle and Baalbek Mr. Antonios and the cleric of the holy metropolis of Zahle the archimandrite Jeremiah Azam were present in Moscow.

The President of TEES warmly welcomed the guests, expressing his joy for their arrival in the Russian capital. Metropolitan Mr. Antonios in particular shared memories of his visits to Lebanon, including the visit to participate in the inauguration of the holy church of the icon of the Virgin Mary "Unexpected Joy" in the mountains of Zahle in May of last year.
