Sanctification at the Social Education Center of the Diocese of Kitroutranslated

On Wednesday, September 23, at the Barnavius Library of the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, the Consecration for the start of the Social Education classes was held by the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. George, in the presence of students, teachers and collaborators of the local Church. For one more school year, the Social Tutoring School of the Holy Metropolis opens its doors, continuing an important project of social contribution and support for students from families with limited financial means.

The head of the Social Education Center is Archimandrite Fr. Dionysios Kollias, who, together with the volunteer teachers, ensures its orderly operation and the essential support of the students.

In the Social Tutoring School, free lessons are provided from the 1st year of high school to the 3rd year of high school, with the aim of strengthening the students in the subjects in which they face difficulties, but also to prepare the students of the 3rd year of high school for the National Examinations.
