Solemn Vespers of the Apostle Paul in Paleo Falirotranslated

As every year, on the eve of the feast of the Saints glorious, glorious and foremost Apostles Peter and Paul, Sunday 28 June 2026, the established Solemn Vespers in honor of the Apostle Paul, thanks to whom our Fatherland he received the seed of the Gospel of Christ.

Consecrated by the Venerable Metropolitan of Nea Smyrna, Mr. Simeon, the solemn Vespers was celebrated with the participation of the holy clergy and a large number of believers from the parish of Agios Alexandros Palaios Faliros, as well as from the neighboring parishes. In this historic place, where the Apostle Paul landed coming by sea from Veria, the faithful flocked to honor the heavenly preacher of the Gentiles and founder of our Church.

During the solemn Vespers, the solemn speech was delivered by Panosiol. Archimandrite Georgios Rousakis, from the Holy Church of Agios Alexandros Palaios Faliros. In his speech, Fr. George referred to the presence of the first great Apostle Paul in Athens and his historic speech at the Areopagus.
