It is interesting that Bishop Ioannikis came to Kalavryta for the first time and responded with a visit to Metropolitan Jerome’s trip to Montenegro on the feast of St. Basil of Ostrog. Such mutual visits are a good thing. Did he notice anything special in Mega Spileo?

Yes, Lyudmila, mutual visits always strengthen ties between Churches. It is interesting that Ioannikios especially noted Mega Spileo - probably the cave church and the story with the icon made an impression. It’s a pity that they didn’t write about this further in the article.

It is interesting that Bishop Ioannikiy noted precisely the Monastery of the Great Cave. In Belarus we also love cave churches, like in Pskov-Pechersky. It’s a pity that the article didn’t add what he specifically said.
