Signing of an agreement for the restoration of ecclesiastical monuments of the Diocese of Nistranslated

An agreement for the allocation of funds through which the renovation and maintenance of ecclesiastical monuments of the Diocese of Nis will be carried out was signed between the Ministry of Culture and the Local Church. On July 1, 2026, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Nis, Mr. Arsenios, welcomed the Minister of Culture of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Nikola Selaković and his entourage at the palace of the Diocese of Nis.

The occasion for the meeting between Minister Selakovic and His Eminence was the signing of an agreement on the allocation of funds based on a tender of the Ministry of Culture for the renovation of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Gorni Androvac, which was erected on the site of the death of Count Nikolai Nikolajevic Rajevsky, who died there as a volunteer in 1876 during the Serbo-Turkish war.
