Grand Solemn High Priestly Vespers at I.N. Agios Panteleimonos Baths of Edipsostranslated

With special ecclesiastical splendor, sanctity and the participation of a large number of believers, on the eve of the feast, Sunday July 26, 2026, the Great Solemnity High Priestly Vespers was held on the occasion of the Holy Pandemou Solemnity of the co-patron of Bath of Edipsos, Saint Glorious Great Martyr and Iamatiko Panteleimonos, in the majestic Holy Church of the same name in the city. Despite the particularly high temperatures and the intense heat of the days, thousands of devout pilgrims from the whole of Northern Evia, but also from many parts of Greece, flocked to the Holy Temple, to worship the miraculous Holy Icon and the fragment of the Holy Relics of Saint Panteleimon, drawing the Divine Grace, strength and spiritual consolation from the protector and physician of souls and of bodies.

The Solemn High Priestly Vespers was celebrated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Heliopolis, Mr. Theodore, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, flanked by a multitude of clergy from the Holy Diocese of Halkidos, Istiaia and Northern Sporades, as well as visiting clergy.

Николай СоловьёвIt must have been hot in the temple under such heat, but people still came in the thousands. It’s good that Metropolitan Theodore headed, and that the relics were carried out with the icon - you always feel how Saint Panteleimon really helps. Here in Kazan we also go to work in the heat, but not on such a scale.
