Our Bishop in Great Britaintranslated

Following normal permission and blessing of Rev. Archbishop of Thyatira and Great Britain Mr. Nikitas, Rev. Our Metropolitan, Mr. Amfilochios, visited Great Britain, (London and Wales), responding to a noble invitation of expatriates, whom he knows from his ministry there, several years ago, as Priestly Head of the Greek Orthodox Community of Cardiff and its surroundings (Wales).

During his short stay in Great Britain, our Bishop, who was accompanied by the Protosygello of our I. Diocese, Pan. Arch. Fr. Agathangelos, the Pan. Archbishop Chrysanthos, and Mr. Georgios Aretakis, a partner of our I. Diocese, had the opportunity to worship at the Holy Patriarchal and Holy Cross Monastery of Timiou Prodromou, (Essex), where the tomb of Saint Sophronios, the founder of the Monastery, is also located. He met and talked for a long time with the Professor of the Monastery, Pan. Arch. Father Petros as well as Pan. Arch. Zacharias (Zacharos), the author of the books of Saint Sophronios.
