Ordination of Protopresbyter and Archdeacon in Molaustranslated

The memory of the Holy Martyr Paraskevi was celebrated on Sunday, July 26, 2026 by our Church and the Molaites honored their Patroness with splendor. In particular, on the evening of the eve of the feast, in the Pericalli Feronymous Holy Church, the solemn High Priestly Vespers was celebrated with a sacrificial offering by the Theophilus Bishop of Lacedaemonia, Mr. Theophilos.

On the holy day, the solemn Orthros, the blessing of the breads and the High Priestly Divine Liturgy presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Monemvasia and Sparta, Mr. Efstathios, were held.

The deacon of our Holy Diocese, Father Arsenios Burouiana, addressed a speech of spiritual edification to the pious Christians, who had flooded the Temple and the surrounding area.

During the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence appointed Protopresbyter the vicar of Molao, Fr. Nektarios Koutsogiannopoulos, speaking with words of praise for his faith, morals, hard work and the large Christian family he has created with his elder.
