On Thursday, August 6, 2026, the great Despotic feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ was celebrated with due splendor and sanctity in the feronymous aisle of the two-room and surrounding Holy Parish Church of the Mallos of Ierapetra.
