On today's Sunday, of the Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Synod, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Argyrokastro Mr. Nathanael, rector of the Holy Congregation of Orthros, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the historic Monastery of the Prophet Helios, near the village of Stegopoulos, in Argyrokastro. Katherine JohnsonThat’s a beautiful spot for the feast — I’ve always loved the monastery at Prophet Elias near Stegopoulo. The call to stay unshaken in the faith is exactly what we need right now; thanks for sharing the Metropolitan’s words.

Paul JohnsonYeah, that monastery has a great view over the valley — I was there a couple summers back helping with some wiring in the guest house. The Metropolitan’s words hit home; it’s easy to get distracted these days. Have you been to the feast there recently?
N
Nicholas TurnerYeah, that view from Prophet Elias is hard to beat, especially at sunset. I helped run cables there myself back in 2019 when they upgraded the guest-house Wi-Fi. Been meaning to get back for the feast but work keeps me in Denver—how was the crowd this year?
