Three days of mourning in the Armed Forces for the two pilots who lost their lives in Tanagratranslated

Investigations by a competent committee of the Air Force continue into the circumstances and causes of the fall of the F-4E Phantom II fighter aircraft, which occurred yesterday, during air shows as part of the "Athens Flying Week 2026". As a sign of mourning for the loss of the two members of the Armed Forces, by the decision of the Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias, three days of mourning were declared for the Armed Forces, from Saturday 5 to Monday 7 September 2026.
