Annual meeting of elders and mothers of unmarried clergy of the Holy Diocese of Kalamariatranslated

Every Sunday of the year on which the Synod of the Holy Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos of Olives is celebrated in the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, the relevant Pastor Mr. Ioustinos decided that the annual Synod of the elders and mothers of the unmarried clergy of the Metropolis be held. Thus, on Sunday September 20, more than 30 ladies, after attending church at the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Divine Transfiguration and participating in the holy procession of the Icon of Panagia Elaivrytissa, went to a central hotel in the area, where the Synaxis took place.

After the rich breakfast received by the members of the Synagogue, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Nea Krini and Kalamaria Mr. Ioustinos warmly welcomed their presence at the Synagogue, thanked them warmly for their ministry and contribution to the local Church and reminded them of the obligations they have towards their priest-spouses, their children and the parish, in which they serve their priest-husbands.

He then warmly welcomed and introduced the keynote speaker of the Synagogue, Dr. Georgia Deretzis, MD, PhD Neurologist, who developed the theme: "unmarried mothers...
