Prayer celebration in Tambovkatranslated

On September 11, 2026, on the day of the Beheading of the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Metropolitan Dionysius and Bishop Vincent celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Three-Handed” in the village of Tambovka, Sargat region. The bishops were co-served by clergy of the Omsk Metropolis, as well as the Commission of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism.
The church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God is located on the territory of the Mother of God Vladimir Monastery. It was consecrated in June of this year, and already in July the first Patronal Feast was celebrated there.
During the service, the word of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was read out on the occasion of the All-Russian Day of Sobriety. Metropolitan Dionysius also blessed the participants of the Princely Procession in honor of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky.
At the end of the Liturgy, the bishops and members of the Synodal Commission visited the Cross, which was installed at the site of the appearance of the Mother of God to the future nun Evgenia, as well as at the St. Nicholas Monastery in the Sargatsky and St. Seraphim Monasteries (“Barbarian Hermitage”) of the Omsk diocese.
