On September 18, on the first day of elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 9th convocation and the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky visited polling station No. 3942, located in the building of Gymnasium No. 1 of Ulyanovsk, and took part in voting.
Elections of deputies in 2026 are held over three days, from September 18 to September 20.
