Consecration for the start of the new Judicial Year by the Metropolitan of Dramatranslated

Today, Thursday, September 17, 2026, the established consecration for the start of the new judicial year took place with due solemnity, inside the Courthouse of Drama. The consecration ceremony was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Drama, Mr. Dorotheos, who blessed those present and wished a productive, fair and blessed year to all the ministers of Justice, underlining the Socratic reason for combining justice with the commandment of love.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Court of First Instance, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance, the court officials, members of the Board of Directors of the Drama Bar Association, as well as a number of lawyer-members of the Association, who exchanged wishes in view of the new judicial duties.

The atmosphere was particularly warm, with all those present underlining the importance of good cooperation between judges, prosecution authorities, lawyers and employees, with the common goal of the smooth functioning of the courts of Drama.
