It’s good that Anya drew it this way – with hearts. My son in Sunday school also often draws Christ with a soft face, without a menacing look. It turns out that children immediately feel what the Gospel is saying. What color crayon did she most often use for these hearts?

Last week in church school, my granddaughter Jovana also drew Christ with hearts, but she mostly used pink crayon. I remember her saying that Jesus was "soft as a pillow". It's nice that children immediately feel that from the Gospel.
