HIV dialogue in Philippines galvanizes call to action

A multi-stakeholder dialogue, “ Faith Forward: Reclaiming HIV in the Health Agenda” was organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) in partnership with the Network of Positive Advocates of the Philippines.

Held in Manila from 24–26 September, the dialogue brought together people living with HIV, faith leaders, churches, community and civil society organizations, and other stakeholders engaged in the HIV response. The theme was “ Faith, Science, Justice, and Sustainable Action for the HIV Response.”
The dialogue focused on the rapidly evolving HIV situation in the Philippines and on strengthening collaboration between faith communities, people living with HIV, and other partners, particularly in the context of challenges affecting HIV prevention, treatment, financing, and sustainability.
