Fotogeografica will celebrate 30 years of activity through an exhibition dedicated to the natural and cultural heritage of Romania. The opening is scheduled for October 14, at 18:00, at the Parliament Palace in Bucharest.
During the event, the Catalogue of Fotogeografica 2026 will also be launched, which includes the winning photographs and a selection of the most representative works submitted to the contest.
The images are grouped into several sections. The anniversary event thus aims to highlight the role of photography in preserving the memories of places and in promoting the natural and cultural values of Romania.
"Fotogeografica has become a genuine cultural community and a tradition that brings together generations of photographers, researchers, explorers, students, and nature lovers," the organizers inform.
