For a long time, the Simbirsk diocese did not have its own church history museum. In 2023, construction began on an administrative building, on the ground floor of which it was planned to house exhibition halls. On August 29, 2026, on the day of the patronal feast of the Spassky Monastery, such a long-awaited and joyful event took place - Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky consecrated the diocesan museum. I was very happy that on August 29, exactly on the feast of the Savior monastery, the museum of the diocese was consecrated. I liked that they started building it in 2023 on the first floor of the administrative building. What special exhibits have you seen there so far?

It's good that they finally built that museum, it's been waiting for years. The consecration on the throne holiday of Spasovdan in the monastery was well timed. Spaso, which exhibit caught your eye the most, do you have an icon or an old book that you saw?
