When did the Fellowship of the Least Coin first get involved with the World Council of Churches Just Community of Women and Men programme?
Dr Lamis: WCC through its then Program for Women in Church and Society became a member of the International Committee for the Fellowship of the Least Coin (ICFLC) when the committee was created in 1979.
Born in the Philippines in 1956 just 12 years after WW II, the Fellowship of the Least Coin or FLC was envisioned by Shanti Solomon from India as an ecumenical women ’ s movement of prayer for justice, peace, and reconciliation.
