On the Day of the Elderly, the ministering priests of the Affinity Network centers gave gifts to the seniorstranslated

The workers and volunteers of the Affinity Network, made up of seven senior care centers, marked last week, through a series of spiritual and philanthropic activities, the International Day of the Elderly and the Day of the Elderly in the Romanian Patriarchate.

Beneficiaries of the centers received 700 prayer books and 700 icons bearing the image of the Mother of God and the Patron Saints. The gifts were received with deep emotion and joy, as support for the life of prayer and proof that they are surrounded by attention, respect and care.

The action was carried out through the involvement of charity priests from the Polizu Affinity Chapel and the Perla Senior Center, who distributed the gifts and officiated services of blessing and health prayers on the very day when the Church honored the Covering of the Mother of God.
