10 members of a family from Texas received Orthodox Baptism in a Romanian parish in Austintranslated

At the end of last month, the Romanian Orthodox Parish of "The Nativity of the Mother of God" in Austin, Texas, experienced a moment with an unforgettable spiritual charge: ten members of the same family received Orthodox Baptism in this community.
Accompanied by ten different godparents, the members of the family participated in the Divine Baptismal Liturgy after more than a year of catechesis, prayer, study, search and sincere effort, says the Reverend Father Gabriel Ilies.
The parish priest reports that their family's path to Orthodoxy included many years of searching, during which they visited and got to know different Christian communities.
"Family members testified that when they entered an Orthodox church for the first time, they immediately felt something familiar. They had the deep feeling that they had finally arrived at the Church they had been looking for for so many years," says the parish priest.
