Chrismation and Baptisms at the Cathedral of Saint George in Stockholm

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Cathedral of Saint George in Stockholm, following the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated by Bishop Bartholomew of Elaia and during which Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia delivered a homily on the Dormition of the feast’s honoree, Saint John the Theologian, the Chrismation of the adult Luke, the Baptism of the adult Anna, and the Baptism of the infant Gabriel were performed.

It is a special blessing of the Triune God that, in the Cathedral of Saint George in Stockholm, as in all the Parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia, a rich spiritual life flourishes and the Holy Mysteries are celebrated.

In this way, the life and ministry of our Church continue and are spiritually renewed through the incorporation of new members of all ages into the Body of Christ.
