On September 30, the Orthodox Church honors the memory of the holy martyrs Faith, Nadezhda, Love and their mother Sophia. The names of the saints recall the three Christian virtues about which the Apostle Paul writes: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Cor. 13:13).

On the day of remembrance of the holy martyrs, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the parish of the church in honor of the Great Martyrs. Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sofia in the agricultural town of New Life.
