Archbishop Stefan made a number of working visitstranslated

On October 6, 2026, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, made working visits to several parishes of the Gomel diocese.

In the agricultural town of Novaya Guta, the Bishop visited the parish of the Ascension of the Lord, where construction of a church in honor of St. Nicholas Svyatoshi continues. Together with the rector, the archpastor discussed the work already completed and the upcoming stages of construction.

Then Archbishop Stefan visited the village of Tsagelnya at the parish of the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary into the Church. During the meeting with the rector, issues of ongoing work and further improvement of the parish were discussed.

The Bishop also visited the courtyard of the St. Nicholas Monastery in the village of Teryukha.
